PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg are investigating a robbery that occurred at Minit Mart on Front Street.
According to police the incident occurred Sunday night at around 10:45 p.m. An unknown man walked into the back of the store and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was displayed or mentioned. The clerk gave the man a bank bag with money and he then left throug the rear of the building. He is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall or 5 feet, 7 inches tall and of a stocky build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. His face was covered with a dark colored mask or bandana. He was witnessed prior to entering the business by nearby people.
Video surveillance is currently under investigatin by police.
