Search Continues for Man Who Fled Police on I-80

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward for information leading to the apprehension of Johnny Richard Brown who fled on foot from police on Interstate 80.

The incident occurred on Nov. 5 at 9:48 a.m. The man was at a traffic stop on the interstate, on the westbound rest area in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Police believe the suspect was armed with a handgun at the time of the incident. The suspect’s last known address was Apartment # 5, Lawrence Park, Clearfield. He is known to frequent Clearfield, PA and Warren, OH.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Brown. Police describe him as a white man, 36-years-old; with short blond hair; blue eyes; around 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 185 pounds of medium build.

Brown is also wanted in North Carolina on larceny and bad check violations.
