CRC Receives Pledge from Clearfield Bank and Trust Co.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Bank and Trust Co. President Bill Wood presented a $5,000 pledge for five years to the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation. Receiving the pledge is Kellie Truman, Main Street Manager for the CRC.

Clearfield Bank and Trust Co. is a founding contributor to the CRC, which is vital in making revitalization a possibility for Downtown Clearfield. According to the DCED, a community applying into the Main Street Program is required to have a local match of contributions to fund the first five years. After the first five years, it is then up to the community to be self-sustained fully by local grants and contributions.

“This pledge helped make it possible for Clearfield to apply into the Main Street Program. We are sincerely thankful that Clearfield Bank and Trust Co supports our revitalization efforts, as well as believing that Clearfield can be a better place for all of us,” said Truman.

Wood added, “We are pleased to support the effort to help revitalize Downtown Clearfield and hope our contribution is a catalyst to the CRC’s success.”
