Wine Sauce for Seafood or Chicken

Pairs well with Starr Hill Winery Niagara

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of shallots
1 teaspoon of dried tarragon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
1/4 cup of Starr Hill Winery Niagara
1 lemon zest
1 lemon juiced
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley

Directions:

Melt butter in small sauce pan over medium-low heat.  Add garlic, shallots, and cook until transparent, about 3 minutes.  Season with salt and pepper.  Increase the heat and stir in white wine and lemon juice, zest and tarragon.  Bring to a simmer and whisk for one minute.  Remove from heat and sprinkle parsley in the sauce.

Cream can be added for extra richness if using with chicken.
