CLEARFIELD – While their investigation remains ongoing, the Lawrence Township Police Department reported today that a Flegal Road structure fire has been ruled arson.
Police stated they conducted the investigation in conjunction with a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal. They stated that the fire destroyed a shed and the rear porch to the home.
According to a previous GantDaily report, officers responded to the Flegal Road address. At arrival, they found a shed at the rear of a structure fully engulfed.
Police indicated then that the Lawrence Township Fire Department arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. The shed was reported as a total loss and damage to the rear porch area has yet to be analyzed.
Police were assisted at the scene by the LTFD and Clearfield Emergency Medical Services.
