Clearfield Borough Council Considers New Plow Truck

CLEARFIELD – The purchase of a new truck for plowing and salting was discussed during Clearfield Borough Council’s committees meeting on Thursday night.

Clearfield Borough Operations Manager Leslie Stott said told council that the street department is looking at purchasing a Ford F-350 with a V-plow and Torpoedo salt spreader. She and Steve Biancuzzo said this truck and plow would be used to service borough alleys in the winter.

Stott said the estimated cost is around $32,400 through the state program. The public works committee is going to recommend to council to put the truck out to bid.
