Philipsburg Main Street Program Announces Halloween Parade Results

PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg Main Street Program announces the winners of the Eighth Annual Halloween Parade which was held in on Oct. 31 in downtown Philipsburg.

Medals were awarded for first, second, and third place in each division. Main Street Program volunteers judged the participants based on specific criteria; those with the highest point totals were the winners. Each participant received a treat bag, which were sponsored by numerous local businesses.

By category, the awards went to: Age 2 and Under- 1st- Christian Gustafson, 2nd- Kadence Hazel, 3rd- Trace Weimer; Ages 3-5 (Preschool)- 1st- Brooke Bainey, 2nd- Isaac Miller, 3rd- Casady Curtorillo; Kindergarten and First Grade- 1st- Cece Hite, 2nd- Caleb Pellerite, 3rd- Michael Janey Johnson; Second and Third Grade- 1st- Mia Bell, 2nd- Jacob Lesko, 3rd- Caleb Matson; Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Grade- 1st- Eddie Voyzey, 2nd- Gillian Letson, 3rd- Katie Lowe; Junior/Senior High- 1st- Emily Crain, 2nd- Taylor Myers, 3rd- Cody Kline; Groups- 1st- P-O Drama Club, 2nd- Bethany Kephart, 3rd- DJ Studios; Adults- 1st- Josie Gildow, 2nd- Nick Gildow, 3rd- Jason Connor. In the Pumpkin Carving Contest awards went to: 11 and Under 1st Place- Primilla Singer, 2nd Place – Mia Bell, 3rd Place Eric Matier and 12 and over- 1st Place- Lacey Matier.

The Main Street Program would like to thank those who participated and for all of the volunteers on the day of the event. Harvest Fest and the Halloween Parade are held each year on the last Saturday in October. For future event information visit here.
