CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County SPCA and Waggin’ Trains pet supply store are teaming up to sponsor a new category for animals in the Clearfield Kiwanis Halloween Parade, set for Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Clearfield Driving Park.
The SPCA will also host a hospitality tent at the event beginning at 4 p.m. The group will display digital photo frames purchased this summer to help showcase shelter animals available for adoption and will offer a place for pets to get a drink, rest and adjust their costumes before the parade.
Six prizes will be presented to pets appearing in the parade in addition to the human awards given by the Kiwanis Club. These prizes are best pet and owner costume combo, most original, prettiest, scariest, best group and best theme.
