Unknown Male Waves Gun in Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault Incident

MORRIS TOWNSHIP – The investigation continues into an incident of terroristic threats/simple assault during which an unknown male waved a pistol and directed threats toward another male at approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday in Morris Township, Clearfield County, the Clearfield-based State Police reported.

According to the report, an 18-year-old Hawk Run man and a 21-year-old Allport man were traveling north on state Route 53. Police said a known male began chasing them in his vehicle.

Police said that the known male intentionally struck the rear of the Hawk Run man’s vehicle on three different occasions, before the victim stopped at a residence. Police said that the known male and an unknown male then stopped to confront the victims but fled north on SR 53, when the owner of the residence came outside.

Police said that the two male suspects returned a short time later with several other individuals in four vehicles. They said that they again confronted the victims but fled when informed the police had been contacted.

Police said that upon fleeing the unknown male waved a pistol out the window of a vehicle. They said he yelled that he was going to kill the Hawk Run man.

Police said that no injuries were reported during the incident. They said that an undetermined amount of damage was sustained to the rear of the Hawk Run man’s 2005 Pontiac Sedan.
