Grove Admitted into Pennsylvania’s Bar

CLEARFIELD – Beau Matthew Grove, of Ridgway, was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar today at the Clearfield County Courthouse.

Grove is the son of Catherine Grove, of Ridgway, and Martin Grove, of Bradford. He is a judicial clerk for the Honorable Fredric J. Ammerman and the Honorable Paul E. Cherry at the Clearfield County Courthouse.

“I do this with great pleasure and without reservation,” Cherry said. He said that Grove was “more than qualified” to serve as an attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Cherry said he’s only worked with Grove for a short time but believes he’s handled his responsibilities well.

“So far,” Cherry joked.

He noted that Grove’s mother, Catherine should be proud. He also said that he looks forward to working with Grove in the future.

Cherry said that Grove received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University in 2006. He said that Grove graduated cum laude from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, DE, in 2009.

Cherry said that Mr. Grove was the research editor for the Widener Law Review and previously was a certified legal intern with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.

Cherry said that Grove sat for the bar exam in July of this year.
