Military Days Set for Rock Run this Weekend

ATV enthusiasts can show their support for U.S. troops this weekend at Rock Run Recreation Area near St. Lawrence.

Entrance to the 6,000-acre ATV park will be free for active military and their immediate families; all others will ride for $5.

With the opening of the new Yamaha trails, there are now more than 70 miles of trails.

“Riders can experience leisurely family rides to black diamond challenges,” stated a press release issued by Sandy Fink-Barrett, executive director of the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority.

“The Staff and Board of Directors of Rock Run wanted to create a way to thank active service men and women and provide an opportunity for them to relax and have fun with family and friends.”

The park will be open from 9 a.m. to dusk each day. On Saturday, a $5 spaghetti dinner will start at 11:30 a.m. The meal includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, roll and butter and beverage.
