‘Parent and Community Night’ Set for Oct. 21 at CCCTC

CLEARFIELD – Lois Richards, executive director of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center, announced that they will hold the fall “Parent & Community Night” from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Richards said that all students, parents/guardians and community members are welcome to attend.

“Our building and classrooms are open. We invite them to come visit us and see what we have to offer,” she said.

“It’s not just for parents and students. It’s for the whole community.”

Richards said that the event will present opportunities for both parents and prospective students.

Richards said that parents will be able to speak to instructors about their students’ current coursework. She said it’s an ideal time for the parents to do so, as the students have been in school for about six weeks.

She said the instructors would also be available to discuss their programs and for question/answer opportunities to both prospective students and their parents.

She noted that special tours will be available from 9 – 11 a.m. and 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. for those cannot attend during the allotted evening hours.

“We don’t want them to miss out,” Richards said.
