UPDATE: Amber Alert Cancelled :: Amber Alert Issued on Behalf of Williamsport PD

WILLIAMSPORT – The Amber Alert issued on behalf of the Williamsport Police Department has been cancelled. The child has been safely recovered and the suspect is in police custody.

Yesterday the Pennsylvania State Police issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert on behalf of the Williamsport Police Department in Lycoming County.

The Williamsport Police Department is searching for A’dryn Allen Drummond, a black male child who is one and a half years old, stands two and a half feet tall and weighs 29 pounds, has short black hair and brown eyes. The child was last seen wearing blue jeans, a horizontal striped navy blue and light blue shirt and a grey hooded sweatshirt with dark blue stripes on the sleeves. The child was reportedly taken by his father Johnnie Alexander Drummond III, a twenty-seven year old black male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. The father was wearing black sneakers, dark blue jeans, and a black shiny winter jacket with an orange interior lining. The father and child were last seen in a black Mercury Mariner sedan bearing Pennsylvania registration FPM3019, heading eastbound on state Route 973 in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County. The abductor is considered armed and dangerous.
