Get Spooked with the Spooktacular Science Show

ALTOONA – Penn State Altoona will host the annual Spooktacular Science Show on Saturday, Oct. 10, in the Paul R. and Margery Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The show is geared for students first grade and up.

The Demonstration Show will take place in the theatre from 1 to 2:15 p.m. and will feature science demonstrations including an exploding pumpkin, glass shattered by sound, a colored flame tornado and a bed of nails. The show is free, but seating is limited.

Following the demonstration show, children and parents can visit one or more of seven science labs featuring hands-on experiments and activities. Children can make their own bouncing balls, use forensics to solve a mystery, and play with other fascinating displays of science.
