New Signal at Parkway Drive Nears Completition

CLEARFIELD – The traffic signal at the intersection of Parkway Drive and DuBois Street is nearing completion. Additional traffic control loops will be added to control the timing of the light and, for a short period, the signal will remain in the caution/blinking yellow mode.

The signal will enter full operational mode when paving on DuBois Street is complete. PennDOT expects the light to be fully operational on Sept. 28. This date is subject to change depending upon work schedules and weather.

Until the signal is fully operation, a stop sign is located on Parkway Drive at the DuBois Street intersection. All vehicles on Parkway Drive are required to stop at the intersection. Drivers should not proceed onto DuBois Street until the intersection is clear.

PennDOT reminds motorists to drive with caution in work zones, be alert for stopped or slowed traffic, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up. For more on information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s Web site.
