CLEARFIELD – On Aug. 27 Buster’s Sports Bar presented $2,661 to Michelle and Brooke Haney to assist with medical bills and other expenses. Brooke Haney, age 15, was born with a congential heart defect and recently received her second heart transplant. Her first transplant was in November 2000 at the age of 6. Buster’s Sports Bar raised the funds at their annual Golf Tournament.
Over the last eight years, Buster’s Sports Bar has donated over $19,000 to various organizations and individuals. Brooke was also presented with $37.30 that Jensen and Jon Marie Maines raised at their lemonade stand. Michelle Haney, Brooke’s mother, thanks the community, friends, and businesses like Buster’s Sports Bar for their continued support and encouragement.
