PHILIPSBURG – An investigation will continue into an indecent assault that occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County, according to the Philipsburg-based State Police.
According to the report, a 9-year-old Philipsburg girl’s mother contacted police authorities. She told police that her daughter had informed her that she had been inappropriately touched by a known person.
Police stated that both the victim and her mother were subsequently interviewed. They indicated that they obtained suspect information. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
