DuBois Area School District Ready for Start of New Year

DUBOIS – While roughly a week remains before students once again walk the halls of the DuBois Area School District’s schools, the school board met Wednesday after the faculty and staff’s first day back.

“I think we are ready to start the new school year,” said District Superintendent Timothy Deluccia.

This year will also see two new members to the faculty and staff as the school board approved two new hires.

Rebecca Lepionka was hired as a long-term substitute elementary teacher at the Highland Elementary School for the coming year.

Joan Bojolad was hired as an elementary instructor for the coming year.
