CLEARFIELD – PennDOT has posted weight limit restrictions on the Nittany Creek Bridge in Centre County.
PennDOT has posted the bridge for a 15-ton weight limit for single vehicles and a 28-ton weight limit for combination vehicles. The Nittany Creek Bridge is located on Route 1005 in Marion Township.
The decision to post weight limits on the bridge was the result of a recent inspection. The Nittany Creek Bridge was built in 1939, is 15 feet long and carries an average of 738 vehicles per day. The posting will remain in place until further notice.
