Auto Accident Claims Penfield Man’s Life

HUSTON TOWNSHIP – State police in DuBois reported an accident that claimed a Penfield man’s life last week.

According to police Thomas Levenduski was traveling north on state Route 255 on Aug. 6. For unknown reasons he traveled off the east side of SR 255 and tried to overcompensate. He traveled off the west side of the road and down an embankment. He continued on for about 105 feet before hitting a ditch. His vehicle then went airborne and traveled another 87 feet before striking a tree.

Police said that Levenduski suffered life-ending injuries. The report also stated that he was not wearing a seat belt.
