PHILIPSBURG – A 51-year-old Philipsburg man’s residence was burglarized sometime between 12:30 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Sunday in Rush Township, Centre County, the Philipsburg State Police reported.
According to the police report, the person(s) entered the residence and removed a 42-inch LCD Sony Bravia television, a large amount of cash and small amount of change and an un-cashed personal check. Police stated that the television has an approximate $2,000 value.
Police indicated that no damage was done to the residence. They stated that it appears the person(s) acquired a key to the residence.
