Fox Township Fire Ruled Accidental

FOX TOWNSHIP – A fire, which caused $100,000 worth of damage to a two-story Fox Township home Friday afternoon, was ruled accidental in nature following a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal investigation, the Ridgway State Police reported.

According to the report, the fire originated in a second-floor bedroom and spread throughout the same floor of the structure. Police indicated that the first floor sustained water and smoke damage.

No one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported, according to the police report.

The Fox Township Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Horton Township Fire Department, Crystal Fire Department and the Fox Township Ambulance Service.
