CLEARFIELD – On Thursday night Code Enforcement Officer Larry Mack reminded borough residents to obtain permits for home construction projects.
Mack said there have been issues with people not getting their permits.
“It is a UCC (Uniform Construction Code) regulation,” said Mack.
He added that a homeowner is required to get the permit through the borough. Mack said if the homeowner/building owner wants the contractor to get the permit, it needs to be put into writing.
“This is going to be strongly enforced,” said Mack.
