State College Man Faces Drug Charges

PHILIPSBURG – In October 2007, members of the Pennsylvania State Police Troop G Vice and Narcotic Unit twice made controlled purchases of cocaine and marijuana from a 42-year-old State College man. He then left the area and his whereabouts were unknown. A warrant was issued for his arrest by District Judge Allen Sinclair.

On Friday, Tony L. Johnson, 42 of State College, was taken into custody by members of the State College Police Department on a separate incident. He was arraigned before District Judge Carmine Prestia, State College on drug warrants. He was charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Bail was set at $2,500 cash and he was placed in the Centre County Jail. A preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday at the Centre County Courthouse.
