CLEARFIELD – Cat and dog owners who let their animals loose in Clearfield Borough were put on notice on Thursday night.
Clearfield Borough Code Enforcement officer warned those who let their animals roam that if the animals are caught, the owners will face fines or have their animals taken to the SPCA.
“We’re going to have to start levying fines heavily on people,” said Mack. “Animals are not to be running loose.
“It’s a situation that’s going to be strongly enforced.”
Mack also stated that the grass-cutting situation in the borough has improved, but that people not cutting their grass in a timely fashion is still a problem.
