CBPD Officer Honored for Effort in Smooth Operator Program

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield Borough Police officer has been honored for his efforts in a state program to help curb aggressive driving.

Chief Jeff Rhone announced on Thursday that Officer Nathan Curry was recognized on June 16 for his part in the Smooth Operator program. Rhone said that in Clearfield Borough, the detail targets aggressive drivers on US Route 322 and state Route 153.

Rhone said that among Curry’s accomplishments in the program, he has made 40 DUI arrests.

“He was nominated for his dedication and extremely good work,” said Rhone.
