UNIONVILLE BOROUGH – A 19-year-old Fleming man who is accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend at approximately 12:02 a.m. on June 3 will face charges, according to the Philipsburg State Police.
According to police, the man discovered that his ex-girlfriend – a 20-year-old Boalsburg woman – was visiting friends at an Alleghany Street residence in Unionville Borough, Centre County. Police stated that the man proceeded to the residence and told her to leave.
Police stated that when the woman refused to do so, the man forcibly removed her from the home. He then forced her into his car and drove her to his own residence.
He then threatened to punch her in the face if she returned to town. He threw her cell phone to the ground, causing it to break, according to police.
Police said that the man was subsequently arrested for kidnapping, terroristic threats and harassment. He was placed in the Centre County Prison pending a preliminary arraignment.
Police indicated that the woman didn’t sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
