Tony Scotto Announces Candidacy for Clearfield County Controller

Tony Scotto has announced his bid for Clearfield County Controller.

A graduate of Seton Hall University, he obtained a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in finance. He is skilled in accounts payable, personnel management, payroll and accounting. Past experience includes work as a financial advisor with American Express, a licensed specialist with National City Bank and a client services representative with Prudential Retirement Services. He as also passed the series 7 and 66 exams to become a registered representative in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Scotto currently owns and operates Scotto’s Pizza in Clearfield where he has been involved in many community organizations including the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club and is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business.

Each year on 9-11 Scotto donates the cash proceeds from his business to the Clearfield Fire Department, Borough Police and EMS in memory of fellow Seton Hall graduates who served in the New York City Fire Department and perished in the line of duty on.

“I will be the voter’s watchdog. As a business owner I can assure you that I will work hard to make sure that your government will use funds efficiently; keep costs low so nobody gets a tax increase. Funds will be spend wisely when I am controller. I am independent of outside influence and personally maintain my integrity and trustworthiness.”

Tony and his wife Rosella reside in DuBois with their two children, Mario and Monica.
