Philipsburg PSP Sets Special Sobriety Checkpoints in April, May

PHILIPSBURG – The Philipsburg-based State Police will continue its sobriety checkpoints and roving details in April and May.

Police said they will target roadways that have high incidences of driving under the influence accidents and arrests in western Centre County.

Police said the special details and checkpoints are conducted in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police’s DUI Strikeforce Program II that was initiated back in October 2008. The program will continue through the same of this year.
