CLEARFIELD – The Natural Resources Conservation Service, Penn State Cooperative Extension Service, Headwaters Resource Conservation and Development Council, and the local County Conservation Districts are sponsoring the third annual No-Till Workshop on March 26. This year’s Workshop will be held at the Penn State DuBois Campus in room 209 of the DEF Building. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.; the workshop will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
This year the workshop will feature presentation by Joel Myers, Sjoerd Duiker, Doug Beegle, Joel Hunter, Bill Curran, and the PA Ag Ombudsman Program. Duiker, Beegle, Hunter, and Curran are with Penn State University while Myers is with the PA No-Till Alliance. Topics to be covered include transitioning to no-till for the beginner and the advanced no-tiller, cover crops, oil seed crops, manure issues, and herbicide update information for no-tillers. The workshop will conclude with the ever popular ask the experts panel.

Pre-registration is requested so that lunch can be ordered but there is no cost to those attending.
