Antique Sideshow Makes Its Return

CLEARFIELD – Antiques Sideshow, the Antiques Roadshow-type program held at the Clearfield Center for Active Living for the past two years, is returning this month. Clearfield County residents aged 50 and older are invited to bring their antiques to the Center for a free appraisal.

Pat Errigo of Pat Errigo Antiques will be at the Center from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 23, to provide information and values about items brought in by the public. Mr. Errigo has been in the antiques business since he took over his family establishment 45 years ago and is a member of the PA Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association, and the Mid-State Appraisers Association.

Attendees are invited to bring along one or two items to be appraised, but please, nothing larger than can be carried in two hands. Those without an item are invited to bring only their curiosity and enjoy the show. The Center will be set up into audience-style seating so that the participants may enjoy listening to all appraisals Mr. Errigo will perform.

There are no charges and no reservations needed for the program. However, those interested in having lunch afterward at the Center are asked to call the day before to make a meal reservation. Any Clearfield County individual 60 years of age or older may contribute to the cost of the meal on a donation basis. The cost to those under age 60 is $3.00.

The Clearfield Center for Active Living is located at 103 North Front Street in Clearfield and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
