CLEARFIELD – Some charges are in store for Clearfield County Jail.
On Tuesday the Clearfield County Commissioners approved accepting a request for proposals for new surveillance equipment at CCJ. The new equipment, according to County Solicitor Kim Kesner, would be a digital audio/visual system.
The commissioners also approved terminating the agreement with the company that the jail’s inmate telephone system is with. According to Kesner Warden Sam Lombardo wishes to upgrade the system now that the jail is nearing an upgrade to its computer systems.
