MAHAFFEY – State police in Punxsutawney reported an automobile accident that left a Duncansville man injured on Wednesday.
According to police Christopher Noal was just south of Mahaffey on state Route 36 when the accident occurred. He was traveling north and failed to round a left curve on the snowy road. He traveled across both lanes of the road before striking an embankment. His vehicle then overturned onto its roof.
Police said that Noal, who was wearing his seat belt, suffered injuries of an unknown severity.
The state police were assisted at the scene by the Mahaffey Fire Department.
