PORT MATILDA – The Philipsburg-based State Police reported that a 41-year-old Port Matilda man who was accused of rape and other sex crimes has been taken into custody.
In an update, police said that Richard Lou Loner, 41 of Port Matilda, was located and taken into custody without incident. Police said that he has been placed in the Centre County Jail.
According to the initial report, charges were filed against Loner through Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair’s office and a warrant was issued.
Loner is charged with rape, indecent sexual assault, indecent sexual assault of a child, aggravated indecent assault and statutory sexual assault. Police said that the charges were filed after the alleged victim, an 11-year-old girl, related that Loner allegedly had sexual intercourse with her on several occasions.
