Virginia Company to Challenge Decision in Lawrence Township

CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township officials will soon be facing another zoning hearing.

Code Enforcement Officer Zach Lawhead informed the Lawrence Township Supervisors that the township has received an application regarding a zoning/hearing board hearing. Lawhead indicated that a company from Virginia that has a commercial property in the township was not happy with a decision he made.

Lawhead said the business is using the commercial property for light manufacturing. He said the company is allowing two of its employees to live in the building’s office, something that goes against the township’s code.

Lawhead said the application is with the zoning/hearing board’s solicitor and that a date, time and location need to be set.
