DRMC Presents AARP Safe Driving Program

DUBOIS – The American Association of Retired Persons Driver Safety Program is an eight-hour classroom driver improvement course for drivers age 50 and older available at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Developed by AARP, the Driver Safety Program can sharpen driving skills, prevent accidents and keep older drivers on the road longer and more safely.

For many people, the AARP Driver Safety Program also saves them money.
Pennsylvania Auto Insurance law requires all auto insurance carriers to offer a discount on premiums to qualified graduates 55 and older of approved courses such as the AARP Driver Safety Program. Policyholders should contact their carrier for more information about such discounts.

An eight-hour course for new enrollees is offered as follows: March 19 and 20 or April 16 and 17. Both sets of classes will be held from 12:30-4:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at DRMC.
