DUBOIS – The DuBois City Police Department reported that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police the accident occurred at the intersection of Brady Street and East Long Avenue. Through the investigation police determined that a 2008 GMC Denali was stopped at the intersection waiting to make a left turn onto East Long Avenue. The vehicle then attempted to make a left turnoff of Brady Street onto East Long Avenue while the traffic light was green.
When the driver turned they struck a pedestrian on East Long Avenue.
The pedestrian was transported to DRMC-West for treatment.
