CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township Solicitor James Naddeo announced a settlement that will bring $23,000 to the Lawrence Township Fire Department.
The settlement involved an accident on Race Street in July 2007. Naddeo said the fire department originally sought around $30,000 for reimbursement for costs incurred by the fire company.
Naddeo said there were initially some items that were disputable. He said the settlement was reached with the insurance company and that the check should be received within the next 15 to 30 days.
