Still Time to Register for Upper West Branch Triathlon, 5K Fun Walk

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Conservation District will hold their annual Upper West Branch Triathlon and Fun Walk this Saturday.

According to Susan Reed, CCCD manager, the triathlon already has a record number of advanced registrations.

For those who are unfamiliar with the event, it is a run-bike-canoe triathlon held at Curwensville Lake with all proceeds going to support our Conservation Education Fund and in particular the Conservation Celebration held each September. The CCCD’s hope is that they can raise awareness about conservation efforts by getting folks out there and enjoying natural resources.
