State Police Arrest Fugitive

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – A man wanted  in the state of Michigan was arrested in Jefferson County on Sunday morning.

DuiBois-based state police reported that Grady Johnson, 45 of Detroit, Mich., was stopped for a speeding violation on Interstate 80 near milemarker 90. A background check revealed that Johnson was wanted for a parole violation on a charge of armed robbery.

Johnson was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John Beck and is Jefferson County Jail awaiting extradition.
