CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors are exploring avenues to stop parking problems along Mill Road after school.
Supervisor Fred Redden said that he heard concerns from various parties about parents parking partially along the street and in the fire hall parking lot while waiting for their children after school.
Redden asked if an ordinance could be drawn up which would establish a no parking zone from the entrance to the middle school to the U.S. Route 322 exit. Parents would then have to park in fairgrounds parking area along Mill Road.
The issue will be looked at further at a later time.
