Darryl Dawkins, aka Chocolate Thunder, This Week on Sports Sunday

CLEARFIELD – Darryl Dawkins, the man who smashed many backboards with thundering dunks is this weeks guest on WOKW’s, (102.9), “Sports Sunday” at 9:15 am, with Dave Marino and Bear Stewart.

Dawkins played for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1975-1982 and was the fifth overall pick in the 1975 NBA draft, fresh out of high school. The 6’ 11” center ended up playing for three other NBA teams before calling it a career. After the 76ers, he went to New Jersey, Detroit and finally the Utah Jazz.
