COOPER TOWNSHIP – State police in Clearfield reported a fatal accident that occurred Sunday at 12:30 a.m.
According to police 21-year-old Randy Levi Hubler wsa traveling north on state Route 53 when his vehicel left the roadway and struck a guide rail end. The vehicle went airborne rotated clockwise 90 degrees and overturned onto its side, striking bridge pier with its roof and right side on the Interstate 80 overpass.
Hubler was pronounced dead at the scene by Clearfield County Deputy Coroner Mike Polachek.
Police were assisted by the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services, Morris Township Fire Department and Winburn Fire Department.
