Clearfield Man Arrested for Shoplifting

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man was arrested for shoplifting at a local grocery store.

According to the Clearfield Borough Police Department 49-year-old Robert Fulmer put $10 worth of merchandise in his pocket and attempted to hide it. He was stopped by store employees.

Police reported that, if found guilty, this would be Fulmer’s second retail theft offense.

Fulmer was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland and placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He was also on state parole at the time of the incident.
