DuBois – The Fifth Annual Spring Clean-Up is planned for April 19 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
Groups meet at the DuBois City Park to get supplies and come back for lunch starting at 11:00 a.m. Each year the event gets bigger with more participants and more sponsors.
The Clean-up is registered as part of the Great PA Clean-Up and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. Trash bags, gloves & vests are donated by PennDot for this effort. Groups of all types are encouraged to participate, as well as individuals and families. Adopt-a-Highway groups can correspond their cleaning dates with this event as well. This event is very special for the number of volunteers and the amount of trash that is picked up in DuBois, Sandy Township and surrounding areas.
