Girl Scouts Visit Library to Earn Technology Badge

CLEARFIELD – Girl Scout Troop 54 recently visited the Shaw Public Library to earn their Technology Badge. Paula Marshall, Director, and Cara Artiola, Youth Services, provided the Girl Scouts with an overview of their online services, Power Library and Learn-a-Test. In addition, Marshall and Artiola, with the help of library volunteer, Jim Null, did a skit that stressed the importance of staying safe online. The library staff also saved their pennies in 2007 and donated the $21 to the girls for their generosity in supporting the library throughout 2007 by making centerpieces for National Library Week and posters for summer reading.
