CLEARFIELD – A Houtzdale woman’s vehicle that was reported missing in late January was located on Wednesday.
According to Clearfield based state police the 1994 white Ford Escort was located in the St. Charles parking lot in Clearfield Borough. The vehicle will be processed by a Records and Identification Unit from Punxsutawney.
Police originally reported that went to Good Street and entered the 61-year-old woman’s white 1994 Ford Escort LX sport sedan, registration ESB2684. The person then fled the scene and went to Snappy’s where he pumped $7 in gas before fleeing south on state Route 253 without paying for the gas.
The investigation into the incident is still under investigation.
