Delisle Found Not Guilty of Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault Charges, Guilty of Simple Assalt Charges, Others

CLEARFIELD – A former race rack manager accused of ramming a fire truck with his own vehicle was found not guilty of felony counts of criminal attempt to commit criminal homicide and multiple counts of aggravated assault.

A two-day trail was held for Richard Delisle of Clearfield on charges filed against him after a July 1, 2007 incident at Gambler’s Raceway Park. To read other stories from the trial, click here, here and here.

Delisle was found guilty of five counts of simple assault, seven counts of recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, injure or tamper with fire apparatus, and disorderly conduct.

The jury deliberated for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The two day trail had testimony from firefighters in the vehicle Delisle rammed, track workers and Delisle.

Delisle now awaits sentencing.
