DuBois Man Accused of Retaliation Waives Hearing

DUBOIS – A DuBois man accused of retaliating against a witness or victim waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday.

David Lingenfelter is accused of retaliation against a witness or victim, simple assault and harassment.

According to court records, Lingenfelter got into an argument with a woman who accused him of taking her car without her permission. Lingenfelter is facing charges in relation to that incident in an existing case.

The woman told police that during the argument Lingenfelter punched her. She struck her head off of a wooden part to a couch. Lingenfelter reportedly let her back to her feet only to allegedly assault her more.

The woman was treated at DuBois Regional Medical Center-West for a sprained ankle, a concussion, bruises and pain.
