CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township police officers dealt with an armed man Monday evening.
According to the Clearfield Borough Police Department, they were called to a domestic dispute at a Turnpike Avenue address. Once on scene officers observed signs of a fight and one woman with blood on her.
During the investigation an unnamed man emerged from another room and charged toward officers. Police noticed that the man was armed with a knife. The man then threatened the officers, stating that he was going to kill them.
Police were able to disarm the man and gain control of him. The man will be arraigned at a later time and will face several felony charges.
